Glen Rose Schools: Ready for Learning
Planning for Re-Engagement 2020-2021
Like other school districts across the state and nation, the Glen Rose School District has been exploring multiple teaching and learning options for the upcoming school year. We are doing everything we can to ensure all students continue to have a safe and rigorous education. Glen Rose Public Schools has been exploring our options for the fall with a reopening task force. When we surveyed all parents informally, about 20% of our families indicated they would like a virtual option. Based on that feedback, Glen Rose will be offering two options for families this fall: Blended Learning and Virtual Learning. We are aware you will need time and information to study these options, ask questions, and consider what is right for your family, so please review the following information in order to help you make your decision by July 9. We will put out a formal survey through social media platforms July 6, and we will need an absolute decision for each student by July 10. We need to have this information by July 10 in order to secure a place in a Virtual Program for students that select virtual learning as their educational option for the 20-21 school year.
