School is in Session on Wednesday April 8, 2026

Entergy has a scheduled power outage on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Based on the outage map, it initially appeared that our Gifford campus could be impacted. Mr. Jordan has spoken directly with Entergy. Entergy confirmed that the outage will not affect the Gifford campus. The crew lead shared that they have installed jumpers to reroute power and ensure the school remains operational during the work.

At this time, we have no reason to believe this will impact our school day. Entergy has assured the district that they will notify us immediately if anything changes.

Unless we hear otherwise, school will operate as normal.
